What is the Clothes Closet?

The Clothes Closet is a collection of supplemental and emergency clothing for children working with DSHS at any level. The goal of the closet is to support families by making warm and comfortable clothing available to all children working with DSHS at no cost to the caregiver.

How Can I Get Clothing?

Foster Supports can help you get clothing for a child in a number of ways. You can set up an appointment to come to the clothes closet and shop for yourself. Or our volunteers can take notes on sizes and the child's needs and go shopping for you. Foster Supports can then make a home delivery or take the clothes to the DSHS office for you to pick up. We strive to respond to all requests within 48 hours.

To contact foster supports about a clothing request, please email us at fsjeffco@gmail.com

What Clothing Can I Get?

The Clothing Closet has sizes from infant through young adult. All clothing is sorted by age and gender and is kept only if it is in good repair and can be worn proudly by a child or teen. There is also a large collection of warm coats, hats, and mittens in all sizes as well as baby blankets.
