YMCA offers an after school program called After the Bell. The program combines physical activity with homework support and project based learning. Cedarbrook Early Learning Center

Cedarbrook is skilled with working with foster parents and DSHS. They encourage foster families to reach out early, even before a child is placed, to become familiar with the center and their unique program. Cedarbrook serves children ages 1 month- 12 years. They have separate programs for the Infants, Toddlers,  preschool, and school age.

Open Monday through Friday 7 AM - 6 PM.  They can care for one month old babies through 12 years of age.   They are a state licensed daycare & accept children who are subsidized by the state. Foster families receive free childcare through DCYF.

Little Ducklings Infant Nursery

Volunteer run, drop in infant care offered on sliding scale.

  • Janet Nolan   360-379-8921.  She can have 8 children 18 months and older.  She accepts Sate subsidized children.  However she is usually full ands a wait list but always give her a call to see is there is room.

  • Lorie Fields   360-385-5152.  State licensed day care and can take State subsidized children. 7:30 to 5:30 Monday through Friday   However she is usually full.  Call to inquire.

  • Tina Bainbridge  360-385-4761 Port Hadlock.   Early Achiver Level 3 Day Care and takes State subsidized children ages birth to 12 years.
